Brought to you by Naarm’s Fat Fruit and directed by the luminary, Susie Dee, Fuck Christmas rages against mainstream holiday season ideals and invites you to celebrate a reimagined, alternative Christmas.

Revel in all the messy ambivalence of the season with a family of artists who bring you camp pageantry, sideshow shenanigans, erotic dance, circus artistry, opera, a live punk band and a nightmare nativity scene.

Built from the ghosts of celebrations past, this show features discarded plastic Christmas trees, salvaged decorations and donated remnants from Melbourne’s 2023 holiday aftermath.

Fuck Christmas is both a protest and a love letter. It holds space for grief, joy, dismay and hope, offering a cathartic refuge from the chaos and expectations of December.

Whether you adore Christmas, resent it or feel somewhere in between, this is the perfect show for coming together to take it apart.
