Up Late With Kate

In 2014, Benn Bennett quit his job and flew to London to watch Kate Bush in concert. Eight years later, Stranger Things were happening and Kate Bush was topping the charts. 

Cabaret artists Benn Bennett, Sarah Ward and Bec Matthews invite you to this loungeroom cabaret, as they perform songs from Benn’s selection of Kate Bush early catalogues, including singles, B sides and other rarities.

This show is for recent fans, deep fans and people who have never heard of Kate Bush. All are welcome to relish in the breathtaking music, bewitching lyrics and playful performance art elements of Kate’s work. 

Expect sing along moments, some Bush trivia, tutu’s, musical saw, luscious keys, ferocious drums, incredible vocals and a minotaur.

Up Late With Kate was supported by Stonnington City Council and premiered at So Soiree in 2022. This show was first performed as a variety night in 2011 and 2012 and Creative Produced by Benn Bennett.
